Congratulations to Kayla Bates and Lizzie VanDyk for taking first place All Around, at the Vaulting Valentine’s Meet hosted by Oskaloosa YMCA Aerials. Kayla had a clean sweep taking First Place on Vault, Uneven Bars, Beam, Floor and All Around for level 5 age 14. Lizzie took first on Uneven Bars, Beam and All Around and a 2^nd on Floor Age 12 Level 5.

Morgan Rosenberger took 3^rd Place All Around with 3^rd on Bars and a first on Floor level 5 Age 12

Grace Twelmeyer had a clean sweep taking 3^rd place on Vault, Bars, Beam, Floor and All Around for level 4 Age 7.

Stephanie Little placed 3^rd All Around level 3 age 11 with a 3^rd Place on Vault, 2^nd on Beam and 3^rd on Floor.

Amber McPherson won 3^rd Place All Around level 3 age 7 with a 3^rd on Uneven Bars, 1^st on Beam and 2^nd on Floor.

Jordanne Hensley took 3^rd All Around age 8, with a 2^nd Place on Vault.

Team Trophies were awarded.  Level 3 took 4^th place and Level 5 took 1^st Place.

On October 31st our competition team girls participated in the Witches Brew, a Level 4-6 USAG Sanctioned Gymnastics Competition presented by the Oskaloosa YMCA Aerials. The girls had a lot of fun at the meet and did a great job. Here are their meet results broken out by level/age group:

These gymnasts have received a qualifying score of 30.0 ALL Around and are eligible to attend the USAG State Meet at Iowa Gym-Nest in December.

It’s State Fair time! The Iowa State Fair tumbling competition is on Saturday, August 22 at the Youth Inn. Ages 3+ can participate. Below is the shirt we designed for the meet. Orders placed by Monday, January 5th will be available at the meet. If you want a shirt but cannot get the order to us by January 5th, submit your request and we’ll process it and send it to you once we get them in.

Please include the following information with your order:

Gymnast Name
Style of Shirt (need to identify short sleeve or long sleeve)
Size

If you have a bulk order, you can send a list that identifies what style of shirt and how many of each size. Payments will be accepted via mail or at the meet. We will have a few t-shirts for sale at the meet, but with the tough economic times, we did not want to make up shirts that we could not sell.
